![]() ![]() Now, here's where you may be able to help me out: In Hhck, I chose the option that said to allow writing to the USB drive and rebooted per Hhck instructions. All I wanted it for was the Sygic, really, and knew that the maps (I'm in New England so pretty dense roadways here and we really need multiple neighboring states) would not all fit on the Honda HU and I would probably need to get them, as you did, somehow onto the usb. I got the HHck from codeage (splurged and got the pro version), and installed it this weekend, and it installed without issue. Anyway, my wife and I just got the 2018 CR-V EX, and I have been following the threads on how I can somehow put Sygic navigation app onto the cr-v head unit (my phone has no data plan, so has to be Sygic or Copilot or MapMe, one of the nav apps that uses offline maps), and saw your reference to how you were able to separately put the maps onto a thumb drive, accessible by Sygic using the HHck. I'm new to the forum, so I apologize in advance if I am not posting this correctly, new to forums too. ![]() Most of the apps are news radio/music services, navigation, ebook readers, or voip services. (You can still kinda of do that by using the web browser and going to the website e.g however once you move the shifter out of Park, the screen will turn blank but you will still hear the audio). they each have a unique interface on the head-unit (via CarPlay or Android Auto when your phone is plugged) where you can see the title of whats playing, duration, minimal controls (pause, play, fast forward and backward etc)įor safety reasons, as far as i could find, there are currently no video playing apps that will project the actual video onto the head unit screen. They however live on your phone rather than downloaded on the limited storage capacity hard drive of the head unit. There are many apps that are compatible with the head-unit. Ive tested this function briefly and here is what i found. ![]()
